Tony Robbins said it best:

"The only impossible journey is the one you never begin."

WHAT IS A MANDALA AND HOW DOES IT HELP ME?

When people think of a mandala they immediately think of a complex design in lots of cool colors that doesn’t make a lot of sense. HOLY SQUIRRELS! It sounds like a human! We are all complex and often the way we act doesn’t make a lot of sense. Those cool colors can mean something. Learn more and get involved in YOUR mandala. It’s fun, relaxing (yes), and as revealing as you want it to be.

"I came to meet Glenn and Ashara of Harmony's Heart Coaching and The Wind Rider Project to learn about equine therapy and its benefits to veterans. They invited me out for a demo and afterwards they asked if I would like to experience their program as a participant. For someone who has always loved horses but never had one, I always feel compelled to say "yes" to any kind of horse time. As a Navy veteran with PTSD due to sexual trauma, going to stay at a complete stranger's home by myself and open up about my trauma required a significant amount of vulnerability. I had recently entered a new phase in my life where leaning into discomfort, knowing that outside of the comfort zone is where growth happens, is what I wanted and needed. This attitude has paid off immensely in my life. Their property and home, as well as both Glenn and Ashara, and their team of animals, were absolutely beautiful and very welcoming! The barn is where all of the hard work happened and the horses joined me there in working through several different issues. I got to set the pace, and for me I wanted to get all that I could from such an amazing experience so I jumped in head first. Having only been in talk therapy up to that point, being up and out of a chair made me feel even more vulnerable but I could feel the safeness and security that was there too. Equine work is very somatic because it takes physical movement and activities and parallels them with the thoughts in your mind - it helps with the mind-body connection, and this is where real healing comes into play. I wasn't just processing my thoughts and feelings emotionally but physically in my body as well, and that's important for someone who has had physical traumas. I came away from the experience feeling loved, humbled, motivated, improved, and prepped for the next stage of healing. I highly recommend Glenn and Ashara and what their programs have to offer. They are truly soulful individuals wanting to help the world in an extremely unique way with horses as their partners. "

READY TO EXPLORE YOUR WORLD?

Sometimes we make the process more complicated than we need to. We will never make a journey of a thousand miles by fretting about how long it will take or how hard it will be. We make the journey by taking each day step by step and then repeating it again and again until we reach our destination. No more excuses. No more self-sabotage. No more self-pity. No more comparing yourself to others. Time to step up. Take action right now and start living your life with purpose.

"It was probably very obvious to you what I needed to do, but in the physical and mental state I was in I didn’t see a way out. I think I was looking outside myself for answers when they were with me all along. I am grateful for your listening and suggestion so I can continue on my journey. "
